Leroy Hill is
the founder of Leroy Hill Coffee Company.
1953
Leroy Hill starts out as a Maxwell House routeman for the Belford
Company in Savannah, Georgia.
1956
Mr. Hill is transferred to Mobile, Alabama where he solely starts a
branch of the Belford Company.
1960's
Mr. Belford passes away in 1968, his son asks Leroy Hill to purchase
the Mobile operation of the Belford Company, consisting of six
employees.
The company expands into the Florida panhandle.
1970's
There are eleven additional locations that house the branch offices
and warehouses. The company expands to Georgia.
1980's
The company expanded into the entire Southeast.
The product line expands considerably with new additions of both hot
and cold beverages. The products can be found in restaurants, grocery
stores, and convenience stores.
1990's - Present
Leroy Hill Coffee Company has 22 locations with branches in Alabama, Florida, Georgia,
Louisiana and Mississippi.
